Christina Rosales, LMT - Deep Tissue Massage

Deep Tissue Massage Therapy

Deep tissue is a modality of massage that can effectively help alleviate pain and restore movement by working with the layers of muscular and connective tissue. Focus is directed toward releasing areas of discomfort and restriction. It can assist with injury recovery and help ease stress related muscular tension. Using appropriate pressure, speed and body mechanics are integral in applying Deep Tissue techniques safely. Deep Tissue Massage is not about forcing change to happen, but creating space for change to occur.

What to Expect from a Massage

Each bodywork session is customized to meet your therapeutic goal. Stretching, resistive exercise, breath work, hot and cold therapy can be applied when appropriate. You can choose to wear comfortable clothes to your bodywork session. Your modesty and confidentiality will be protected at all times. In order to provide you with a safe and customized massage, I will ask that you please arrive five minutes early to your appointment to fill out a brief health history form.
